One day I decided to paint this melancholic feeling in my chest, and this is what it turned into. You can’t always be happy. Happiness is momentary, like melting snow; those memories, and feelings you experience however – transcends time. How much less meaningful would happiness have been, if sadness never added meaning to it. We’ve all had nights when we’ve hurt, we’ve cried, felt rejected, misunderstood, heartbroken, alone, anxious, helpless... while the world kept moving like nothing happened. Every good book has its sad chapters.

This piece speaks volumes to me, her lacking a mouth and the dying or withering flower in her hand. The breaking or tears, it's emotionally jerking me right now like I want to cry..
